The Shattered Sky

The Shattered Sky is a standalone fantasy adventure (though Jonathan has a couple ideas for a potential sequel) set in a world with no oceans or horizon, just an endless sky dotted with floating islands traversed by ships that sail upon the winds.

After getting kicked out of the world’s most prestigious magical university for his wild theories, Hayden cons his way onto a skyship to prove himself by finding a legendary treasure. But Chanda, one of his new crewmates, suspects he is not what he claims. Chanda hides a secret of her own, one bound to the very treasure Hayden seeks. If they are to survive the dangers ahead they will need to learn to work together and Hayden will have to confront the dark truth about the home he loves.

The Shattered Sky was born from Jonathan’s desire to create a world where autism is magic and autistic characters take center stage, which he never saw in the stories he read growing up.

Jonathan is currently deep in the query trenches, searching for an agent who will share his vision and desire to bring the magic of The Shattered Sky to the rest of the world.
